For a classic African safari experience, you will have to encounter a number of wildlife through game drives. This is the major activity done in most of our national parks. Taking an experienced guide in the early morning is the most successful way to track down a pride of lions, and maybe even the odd leopard

Game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

For game drives in this park, it is advisable to move with a park ranger who will help you spot the lions that may be sitting on the valley’s various rocks. Other wildlife includes elephants, leopard, bush duiker, jackal, bushbuck, bush pig, ostrich, buffalo and much more, in the wild Narus Valley.

This is an interesting activity most liked by tourist who make it to this park, the park is a home to over 80 species of mammals include Burchell’s zebra only seen animal in Kidepo and in Lake Mburo National park, others include, buffaloes, elephants, leopard, lion. Rothschild giraffe, eland to mention but a few.

Game drive in Lake Mburo National Park

The park is a home to several species of animals and these can be well spotted out in the open grassland of the park. Animals like buffaloes, zebras, leopard, Burch ell’s zebra and Eland together with various species of antelopes can all be viewed during the game drive. And the guide will help in spotting and giving relative information while on game drive.

Game drives Murchison Falls National Park

In Murchison Falls National Park game viewing can be enjoyed while on a game drive in several designated game drive areas. The main areas are the Delta where there are great chances of seeing the Lions in wait for prey as they go to drink, the Buligi Peninsula and the southern sector famoulsy known as the heart of Murchison.

Game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Game drive is the major thought of activity while at the park. The park is known to be a highest concentration of wildlife, places like Kasenyi area of the park, North Kazinga plains offers one a chance to watch plenty of elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelope species, the rare giant Hogs, leopards among other animal species, In the Ishasha sector south of the park, visitors can move through the woodland to look for tree-climbing lions hovering on the branches of very old fig trees.

If you start the game drives safari in Serengeti National Park the first thing in the morning, you will find the Serengeti at its most active. This is when Africa can reveal its cool side, so you should wrap up warm (we aim to be on the road before the sun rises at around 6.00 am).

Our guides will bring you as close as possible to the wildlife, just when the action is likely to be most exciting. Few predators hunt during the heat of the day, so the early morning is the best time to observe the thrill of the chase. It is also a magical time, with the subtle light dappling the landscape, the birds awakening and the sense of a great adventure beginning to unfurl. And just when your stomach starts to complain, we’ll give you a late breakfast in the bush, before further viewing leads you back at about 11.00 am, in good time for lunch and leisure at the camp.
